Adams Morey Nursling is looking for a reliable, organised and hardworking Order Picker to join our busy Parts Department.

As an Order Picker, you will play an important role in ensuring customer and workshop parts orders are picked accurately and efficiently. You’ll work as part of a busy team, helping to maintain stock levels and ensuring parts are ready for collection or delivery within the required timescales.

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10.00 am to 7.00 pm, one in two Saturdays, 8.00 am to 12.00 pm, i.e. 45 hours per week, 30 minutes lunch break (unpaid).

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick parts and products from stock against customer and internal orders.

• Check picked parts against order details to ensure accuracy.

• Prepare parts for customer collection and delivery.

• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries where required.

• Put incoming stock away in the correct locations.

• Maintain an organised and tidy parts warehouse.

• Assist with stock checks and regular stocktakes.

• Report any stock discrepancies, damaged items or shortages to the relevant team member.

• Ensure parts are labelled and stored correctly.

• Work closely with the Parts Team to ensure orders are processed efficiently.

• Follow all company procedures relating to stock control and health and safety.

• Use warehouse and parts systems accurately where required.

• Carry out any other reasonable duties required to support the Parts Department.

Ideally, we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, parts or order-picking environment.

• Good attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage workloads effectively.

• A reliable and hardworking approach.

• Ability to work well as part of a team.

• Good communication skills.

• Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.

• Basic IT skills and confidence using computer systems.

• A flexible and proactive approach to supporting the wider team.

• Previous experience within the automotive or commercial vehicle industry would be advantageous.
