Ben Roles, 2nd Year Parts Apprentice, Adams Morey Nursling
Before his apprenticeship, Ben was a Lifeguard, but had a passion to work in the automotive industry. As Ben continues to excel, he explains why he chose Adams Morey for his apprenticeship.
“My day-to-day activities would include speaking to customers over the phone or email, looking up the parts they require and supplying them with the correct part. You meet lots of different people with varying needs, so no two days are the same. I like working for Adams Morey because I’ve been given several opportunities to expand my knowledge through additional training and development at DAF and their events such as Ride and Drive to experience the New Generation DAF and Electric range. In addition, I have taken part in training with some of our parts suppliers and visited other Adams Morey sites and their workshops.
My proudest moment whilst working for Adams Morey would be noticing my knowledge improve and being able to help my team and colleagues and not being as reliant on them. Adams Morey are supportive and have given me the foundations to my career."

Max has enjoyed an outstanding apprenticeship journey – winning multiple awards on his way to graduating. He has been a DAF Apprentice of the Year finalist three years running, winning the award in 2023. He has also competed at the World Skills Final twice, most recently winning Silver Award.
“I was working in retail and when my daughter was born, I decided I wanted to do something different with my life and for my family. I wanted to do something with engineering as I’m quite a practical person. I saw an opportunity at Adams Morey to kickstart my career and applied.
My proudest moment while working for Adams Morey so far has been winning the DAF apprentice of the Year award 2023 and achieving Silver at World Skills Final 2022. Thanks to my ongoing training and development at Adams Morey I am currently working towards my HGV Licence and my CPC qualification. Adams Morey have been extremely supporting throughout my apprenticeship and my mentors have guided, encouraged and inspired me to progress.”
